The Hibiya line is a subway operated by Tokyo Metro. It runs from Kitasenju station to Naka-Meguro station. The opening of business was on March 1961. Main stations are Ebisu station, Roppongi station, Kasumigaseki station, Hibiya station, Ginza station, and Akihabara station. The number of stations in total is 21. Since it directly connects with the Tobu Isesaki line, and access to the inner parts of Tokyo is good, it is a route with considerable demand. Also, in preparation for the Tokyo Olympics in 2020, the establishment of a new station around the Toranomon area is expected.
